This minimal design Biker T-shirt is dedicated to all the
passionate bikers and bike enthusiasts. Although I don’t know how to ride; Bikes
and Bikers have always intrigued me. The design, the graphics, and the sound of
the engine – they’re just fascinating.
When I shifted to Bangalore, I was lucky to have met a
friend who shares the same passion for bikes. He would ride along with a group
of bikers and travel to places. I would see their pictures and think these guys
are creating beautiful memories. In their old age, they would have so many
interesting stories to tell to their grand children.
The most beautiful thing about these bikers is they are
making the most of their lives – like a bird they ride free, spend days and nights
on the broad highways, visit places, meet people and make new friends. Influenced
by their travels, my friend and I decided to make a trip to Pondicherry. We
have planned for this trip quite early and were eagerly anticipating for the
day to come. All arrangements done, packing done, all set – it was going to be
my first ever bike trip.
The next morning we were supposed to wake up early and begin
the much-awaited journey. However, my friend wasn’t at the best of his health
and due some strange reasons I was uncertain of the trip. Perhaps it’s the
nervousness kicking in. We were staring at each others’ puzzled faces. After a
while, we said it in unison, “Let’s do it. We have planned for it for so long,
now we can’t back down.”
We finally made that trip (around 6 to 8 hours of one-way
journey, I suppose). The experience was something I can’t describe in words.
The thrill, the excitement and the adrenaline rush are something out of the
universe. You have to experience it for yourself to feel the joy of riding on
the highway. It’s pulsating, you feel alive and it’s definitely addictive.
We thought twice about the ride and we almost missed adding
a beautiful chapter to our lives. So dear friends, if you’re planning for
something similar, please “Don’t Think Twice. Just Ride!” Challenging
circumstances may arise but in the end you will thank yourself for taking the
trip.
